The origins of the dreamcatcher are quite unclear, mostly due to the loss of much Native American history during European contact, colonization, and forced relocations. Yet, legends surrounding the dreamcatcher exist in nearly all tribes across North America, and most of those legends revolve around similar themes: Spirits, spiders, and most prominently, dreams.

Native Americans believe the night brings good and bad dreams. The Dream catcher when hung near your bed catches the dreams. Hanging them over or near the bed is the ideal placement of dream catchers. The entry point of the energies such as the front door or windows is an alternative location for placing the dream catchers.

This dreamcatcher is predominantly chocolate in colour and is 17cm wide with a drop of around 55cm.
