Lavender is generally regarded as the most versatile essence therapeutically.
In relation to the skin, it helps with abscesses, acne, allergies, athletes foot, boils, bruises burns, dandruff, dermatitis, earache, eczema, inflammations, insect bites and stings, insect repellent (especially teamed with citronella), lice, psoriasis, ringworm, scabies, spots, sores, sunburn and wounds.
Applied topically it will help muscular aches and pains, rheumatism, abdominal cramps, depression, insomnia, PMT and stress-related conditions to name just a few.
And yes it is even used in our food chain, including alcoholic and soft drinks.
